Watch this space!

Since we've given our URL out to a few friends and family members, we wanted to write a quick update. After a few delays, things are moving forward on our big move and it looks like we will be flying out of Washington-Dulles on the evening of February 22, arriving in Doha by dinnertime on the 23rd. We will be staying at the Somerset West Bay (http://www2.somerset.com/qatar/doha/somerset_west_bay.html?__utma=1.1102985349.1233616078.1234197213.1234214784.3&__utmb=1&__utmc=1&__utmx=-&__utmz=1.1234214784.3.3.utmccn%3D(organic)%7Cutmcsr%3Dgoogle%7Cutmctr%3Dsomerset%2Bwest%2Bbay%7Cutmcmd%3Dorganic&__utmv=-&__utmk=185833642) for a few months until we get settled, at which time we will probably move into a "villa" (i.e., townhouse). The school situation is still up in the air; we've reserved a spot for Morgan at the new French school but are also looking at a new English-speaking international school that would give her the option of 3 1/2 hours per week of native-level French instruction. The latter has bus service available, which is a huge plus, and Morgan wouldn't get behind in English, although her already-excellent French would no doubt be flawless after some time in the former. One benefit of the French school is that they teach Arabic to all students, which surprisingly few of the schools in Doha seem to do. We will keep you all posted.
